Lim Seng Lee Duck Rice Restaurant
38 South Buona Vista Road

The whole entire spread of dishes we order at the restaurant…. It adds up to $30 and feeds 3… Expensive.. But the food is very nice….

The main dish.. Duck in yummy brown sauce… (The sauce is sweeter than normal… But the sweetness gives a nice touch to the meat, which is flavourful by itself… There’s no skin tho…. Haha… I love duck skin…..)

Sambal Kangkong…. Quite nicely done.. Love the sambal!!!

Braised tofu… Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside…

卤肉饭… Thot it was only average… The meat could have been cooked for a longer time.. But the egg was not bad…..

Smelly tofu… Don’t really see this often…. It was good…

炸酱面… Supposed to be good…..

The authentic Taiwanese fried chicken…. (Can give all the other Taiwanese fried chicken a miss… Cos they don’t taste like the real thing…)

Grilled Seafood Place @ Takashimaya Basement… (We call it the “Oden Place” tho….)

Oden…. But this is a pretty lousy picture… Hmm for those who dunno what’s oden.. Think Jap yong tau foo… We always borrow the auntie’s scissor to cut up the stuff in the oden… So feel free to borrow scissors there too….

Grilled ika set… The only thing we have been eating there besides oden…. Not that the rest of the stuff don’t look nice… Its just that we are lazy (I think so.. Cos I know I am), we don’t wanna deal with the extra work that comes with eating grilled fish….

The miso soup is really nice.. And the brinjal (smallest bowl) tastes very good.. So much for being one of the most hated vegs around…

Some bean mochi…. Hahhahaz… Forgot the name.. Was so long ago…. (Benji enlighten me if u remember…)

Jap Food Stall @NTU Canteen 1 (And someone shd start complaining about disposable utensils!!! How can anything taste nice when its presented in polysterene?!?!?!)

Katsu Curry Don…. Curry sauce seems watered down… But didn’t know crab sticks can taste nice…. (See crabstick salad at right bottom of the polystyrene box…)

The executive set here actually comes with soup, freeflow bread a main dish and coffee or tea….. Tea comes in and interesting container too!! The price comes up to about $14…. Thinks its pretty worth it…

Sabo ramen I think…. Not very good at identifying ramen….

Katsu Curry Don….. Ya.. Pork cutlet again… Currently undergoing this phase in which I am just trying out the prok cutlet, more specifically Katsu Curry Don everywhere…. This one is only soso tho…. My fave one is still in Japan…..

Forgot what this is called… Think it has the word “matcha” somewhere…

Didn’t try it… *cough* But unidentified person no1 says that the ice shavings are very fine and no 2 said that the matcha syrup can be tasted even in the ice shavings inside….

Green tea residue…
